Customers retain full ownership and control over all candidate data submitted through Screened. We process and store this data on behalf of our customers in compliance with privacy laws.

We prioritize security at every level. Screened uses enterprise-grade encryption standards, including AES-256 encryption for data at rest and TLS 1.3 (or at a minimum, TLS 1.2) for data in transit. Our systems are hosted on AWS, leveraging industry-leading security practices to protect your data.

Screened uses OTP (One-Time Password) authentication to secure user access. This method is similar to SSO (Single Sign-On) security but doesn't require users to create accounts in our system. When users need to access Screened, they receive a unique, time-sensitive password, typically via email. This OTP serves as their secure, temporary credential for that session, validated by access to their company email address.

All data processed by Screened is hosted on AWS servers within SOC 2 Type II certified data centers in the US (California) and Asia-Pacific regions (Singapore), ensuring compliance with the highest security and privacy standards.

Yes, all data within Screened is encrypted both in transit and at rest. We use TLS 1.3 (or at a minimum TLS 1.2) for secure data transmission and AES-256 encryption for storage. This ensures your candidate data is safe from unauthorized access at all times.

Screened fully complies with global privacy regulations including GDPR, PDPA, and CCPA to ensure your data is handled in accordance with the latest legal requirements.

We follow international data transfer standards and offer contractual safeguards through our Data Processing Agreement (DPA).

Screened employs the services of a third-party billing processor (Stripe) certified for PCI-DSS compliance, ensuring that all credit card or bank payments processed through our billing system meet PCI-DSS requirements.

PCI-DSS data is not stored in our system, and we are not required to hold a PCI-DSS certification.
