Cornerstone TalentLink integration

AI Screening for Cornerstone TalentLink Recruiters

Score resumes against your Requisition requirements and run AI voice or text screening interviews on every applicant — with scores, transcripts, and a hire/no-hire recommendation ready in Screened before anyone sets an Applicant Status. The Cornerstone TalentLink integration is available on request.

Where Screened fits in Cornerstone TalentLink

Cornerstone TalentLink is the enterprise recruiting and applicant tracking module inside the Cornerstone talent management suite, used by more than 7,000 organizations worldwide across public sector, higher education, manufacturing, healthcare, retail, and financial services.

It descends from Lumesse's TalentLink product, which Cornerstone picked up through its 2020 acquisition of Saba (which had bought Lumesse in 2018), and it's built for large, often multi-country employers running many Requisitions and Career Sites at once alongside Cornerstone's Learning, Performance, and Skills Graph tools.

What Screened takes off your plate in Cornerstone TalentLink

Running screening consistently across multiple Career Sites

One TalentLink instance can power a US corporate Career Site, a European manufacturing Career Site, and a public-sector Career Site at the same time, each with its own compliance questions and branding — recruiters need the same screening bar applied across all of them without rebuilding rules per site.

Working the Manage Candidates queue against Suggested Actions

Recruiters spend their day moving applicants through Applicant Status using the Suggested Actions prompts on the Manage Candidates page — generating an offer letter once someone hits Offer Extended, for example — and every applicant who doesn't move forward still needs a Disposition before the Requisition can close.

Triaging high-volume and seasonal Requisitions

Retail, manufacturing, and healthcare TalentLink customers often run seasonal or high-volume Requisitions with hundreds of applicants apiece; recruiters need to triage that volume in the Candidate Statuses Carousel faster than they can open resumes one at a time.

Sourcing from Talent Pools before posting a new Requisition

Recruiters search existing Talent Pools and TalentLink CRM campaigns for warm candidates before opening a brand-new Requisition, which cuts job-board spend and time-to-fill on roles that repeat often.

How Screened works with Cornerstone TalentLink

1

A candidate applies to an open Requisition through one of your TalentLink Career Sites. Screened reads the resume and application, then scores it 0-100 against that Requisition's specific requirements and pulls out key qualifications, red flags, and years of experience.

2

Candidates worth a first conversation get an AI voice or text screening interview automatically. Screened returns a transcript, per-question scores, and a hire/no-hire recommendation for each one — no recruiter has to dial the phone first.

3

Those results — score, results link, and recommendation — are ready in Screened before anyone sets an Applicant Status from the Manage Candidates queue. Syncing them onto the TalentLink record is available on request.

Built around how Cornerstone TalentLink works

Screened fits the objects and stages your team already uses in Cornerstone TalentLink.

Requisition

TalentLink's job opening record, tracked from the 'My Requisitions' view and opened as a Requisition Snapshot page. Per Cornerstone's own API documentation, a Requisition must be Open (or Open Pending Re-Approval) and posted to at least one Career Site before it will accept new applications.

Career Site

The candidate-facing application site TalentLink hosts for a Requisition. Large customers commonly run several — one per country, brand, or business unit — each with its own branding, compliance questions, and application flow.

Applicant Status & Disposition

TalentLink's two-part pipeline model: Applicant Status tracks where someone sits in the process (e.g., Review, Interview, Finalist / Second-or-Third Interview, Offer Extended), while a separate Disposition (e.g., Offer Declined, Finalist – Not Selected) is required once an applicant is closed out. Exact labels are admin-configurable per organization.

Manage Candidates

The recruiter's day-to-day screen, reached via Recruit > Manage Candidates, built around a Candidate Statuses Carousel that totals applicants by status and Suggested Actions that prompt the next step for whichever status an applicant is in.

TalentLink CRM & Talent Pools

TalentLink's natively built CRM, used to build and maintain warm Talent Pools of past and passive candidates through AI-powered semantic search and targeted outreach campaigns, reducing reliance on posting a fresh Requisition for every opening.

Skills Graph / skill-based matching

The AI layer TalentLink draws from the broader Cornerstone suite to rank and surface candidates by matching parsed skills to a role — TalentLink's own sourcing and ranking AI, distinct from running a live screening interview.

Review candidate fit and authenticity

Bring screening assessments and potential authenticity concerns into your team’s review. Use the written findings to decide where a closer look is needed.

Common questions

TalentLink's own AI is built for skill-based matching — ranking and surfacing candidates across your Talent Pools using AI-driven search and taxonomies — rather than scoring one applicant against one Requisition's specific requirements or interviewing them directly. Screened adds that layer: a 0-100 resume score per Requisition, plus an AI voice or text screening interview, with the result ready in Screened.

Not today. Screened runs the voice or text screening interview outside TalentLink and holds the transcript, per-question scores, and hire/no-hire recommendation in Screened, ready before a recruiter sets an Applicant Status from the Manage Candidates page they already work from. Writing them back as a note on the candidate record is available on request.

Cornerstone's own API rules require a Requisition to be Open (or Open Pending Re-Approval) and posted to at least one Career Site before it will accept applications. Screened follows that same rule, so screening starts when a Requisition goes live and stops once it's closed or unposted.

Yes. Because large TalentLink customers often run a separate Career Site per country, brand, or business unit, Screened is configured against your specific Requisition types — so a manufacturing plant's high-volume hourly Career Site and a corporate office's professional-role Career Site can use different screening questions and scoring criteria from the same TalentLink instance.

No — that workflow stays exactly as it is. Scores, transcripts, and recommendations are ready in Screened before a recruiter sets a status, so candidates still move through the same statuses and final Dispositions they do today, just with a real evaluation behind each move. Writing the result back as a note, or moving the Applicant Status forward automatically, is available on request.

Screened highlights potential concerns in resumes and checks interview answers against the job requirements. Your team can review the written reasons and interview transcript, then ask follow-up questions about experience that needs clarification.

Screened keeps assessments and written reasons for candidates screened through Cornerstone TalentLink. Open the Screened candidate profile to review activity, or export a CSV of the latest decisions. For hiring decisions made in Cornerstone TalentLink, use its own records. See the screening records guide.
