Crelate AI Screening: Score Resumes and Run Phone Screens Automatically
Screened scores every applicant against your requirements and runs the AI voice or text screening your desk doesn't have time for — score, transcript, and recommendation finished before anyone works the Crelate Job Dashboard. The Crelate integration is available on request.
Where Screened fits in Crelate
Crelate is an all-in-one ATS and Recruiting CRM built for staffing and recruiting agencies, executive search firms, and in-house talent acquisition teams; Crelate says it serves more than 25,000 recruiting professionals.
Recruiters work applicants through configurable Workflow Stages on each job's Job Dashboard, track client-side business through CRM Opportunities, and get baseline AI help from Crelate's own Discover Agent, Insights Agent, and Co-Pilot for sourcing and resume summaries.
Because a single Crelate desk often juggles dozens of open jobs across several clients at once, the first pass through a stack of new applicants — and the phone screen that follows — is usually the biggest bottleneck before candidates ever reach a client.
What Screened takes off your plate in Crelate
When applications pile into the Workflow Stage typed as New (commonly labeled New Candidates or Sourced), Screened scores each resume 0-100 against that job's requirements and produces the score, key qualifications, red flags, and years of experience — so whoever opens the Job Dashboard next already knows who to drag into Screening and who to mark Not a Fit.
Many Crelate agencies name their next Workflow Stage Screening or Phone Screen. Screened can call or text candidates sitting in that stage with your screening questions and return a transcript, per-question scores, and a hire/no-hire recommendation, so a recruiter only picks up the phone for candidates worth a live conversation.
Staffing desks running an MPC play need a current, credible case for the candidate they're shopping to multiple clients. Screened's score, flagged qualifications, and interview transcript give the recruiter something concrete to point to when pitching the candidate into a new Company or Opportunity instead of relying on memory.
Between a passed phone screen and a submittal, someone has to lock down availability and next steps. Screened handles that scheduling coordination directly with the candidate and records the outcome, so the recruiter knows exactly when and why a candidate is ready to move into Submitted to Client — and can log it against the job through Crelate's Regarding field.
How Screened works with Crelate
A candidate lands in the Workflow Stage typed as New on a job's Job Dashboard, whether they applied through your Jobs Portal or a recruiter added them manually.
Screened scores the resume 0-100 against that job's requirements, extracts key qualifications, red flags, and years of experience, and — for candidates in a Screening stage — runs an AI voice or text interview using your screening questions.
The score, results link, per-question results, and a hire/no-hire recommendation are ready in Screened, so a recruiter can log the activity against the candidate and tag it to the job through Crelate's Regarding field. Posting that activity automatically is available on request.
The recruiter moves the candidate into the next Workflow Stage (Submitted to Client, Not a Fit, etc.) from a finished screen rather than an unread resume.
Built around how Crelate works
Screened fits the objects and stages your team already uses in Crelate.
The pipeline view for a single job — candidates appear as tiles grouped into columns by Workflow Stage, and recruiters drag them from column to column as they progress.
A configurable pipeline step (up to 20 per job on Business plans, 30 on Enterprise) with its own name, a Type such as New, and optional automation like an auto-sent submittal email when a candidate lands there.
The draggable card representing one candidate within a Workflow Stage column on the Job Dashboard.
The chronological log of notes and activities on a candidate record; the Regarding field ties a given activity to the specific job it's about.
Crelate's CRM record for a placement or deal in progress, tracked through its own Sales Stages separately from a candidate's Workflow Stage.
A staffing-industry practice, covered in Crelate's own guidance, of tracking a standout candidate and proactively marketing them to multiple clients rather than a single req.
Review candidate fit and authenticity
Bring screening assessments and potential authenticity concerns into your team’s review. Use the written findings to decide where a closer look is needed.
Common questions
Co-Pilot's Co-Screen feature gives you a resume summary written from a recruiter's perspective, which helps you skim faster, but it doesn't produce a consistent score against a job's requirements or contact the candidate. Screened is built for that gap: it scores every applicant 0-100 against the specific job, flags red flags and years of experience, and can run an actual AI phone or text screening interview — something Co-Pilot doesn't do.
Not today. Screened's score, transcript, and recommendation are ready before anyone touches the Job Dashboard, so a recruiter drags a candidate who scored well and completed a phone screen from Screening into Submitted to Client, or marks a poor fit Not a Fit, from a finished result rather than an unread resume. Driving that stage update automatically is available on request.
An MPC play depends on having a strong, current, documented case for the candidate you're marketing to several clients at once. Screened's score, flagged qualifications, and interview transcript give you something concrete to reference when you want to pitch them into a new Company or Opportunity.
In Screened, to begin with — the score, extracted qualifications, and a results link are held there against the candidate. A recruiter logs them on the Activity Stream as an activity linked to the specific job through Crelate's Regarding field, so anyone opening that candidate record or that job's Job Dashboard sees them. Posting that activity automatically is available on request.
Crelate is available on request. Just ask us about it when you talk to sales. Screening itself needs no developer work, no custom API project, and nothing to install on your side.
Screened highlights potential concerns in resumes and checks interview answers against the job requirements. Your team can review the written reasons and interview transcript, then ask follow-up questions about experience that needs clarification.
Screened keeps assessments and written reasons for candidates screened through Crelate. Open the Screened candidate profile to review activity, or export a CSV of the latest decisions. For hiring decisions made in Crelate, use its own records. See the screening records guide.
