Freshteam integration
Freshteam AI Screening for Faster, Smarter Hiring
Score every resume that lands in your Freshteam Applicants stage, and run AI phone screens before a human ever picks up the phone. Every result is ready in Screened before your hiring managers open the Candidate 360 profile. The Freshteam integration is available on request.
Where Screened fits in Freshteam
Freshteam is Freshworks' HR and applicant tracking system, built for small and mid-sized companies — many without a dedicated recruiting team — to post jobs, run a career site, and move candidates through Freshteam's own Applicants → Screening → Interviews → Offer pipeline. It's especially common among IT and software companies already using other Freshworks products.
Freshworks began deprecating Freshteam in January 2026 and stopped all renewals by June 2026, so the customer base is now closed and shrinking — though existing customers keep running live hiring in Freshteam through their current contract term, with some annual terms potentially running into 2027.
What Screened takes off your plate in Freshteam
Freshteam drops every career-site and job-board application into the Applicants stage as a flat list. Screened scores each resume 0-100 against the job posting's requirements once it lands, so a recruiter can work from a ranked list and bulk-advance only qualified candidates into Screening instead of opening each Candidate 360 profile one at a time.
Many Freshteam hiring processes include a built-in 'Recruiter Phone Screen' sub-stage under Screening. Screened's AI voice screening can call candidates who reach that stage, ask the same structured questions every time, and produce a transcript, per-question scores, and a hire/no-hire recommendation before a recruiter ever dials.
Because every Freshteam job posting traces back to an approved job requisition and a named hiring manager, Screened's score and screening notes are ready before that hiring manager opens the Candidate 360 profile where they already review interview scorecards. Writing them back onto the profile automatically is available on request.
When a Freshteam recruiter archives a candidate to the Talent Pool as 'right candidate, wrong job,' Screened's original score, transcript, and notes stay held against the candidate it screened, so pulling them back for a new requisition starts with context instead of a blank Candidate 360 page.
How Screened works with Freshteam
A candidate applies through your Freshteam career site or a connected job board and lands in the Applicants stage; Screened reads the live job posting's requirements and scores the resume 0-100, flagging key qualifications, red flags, and years of experience.
Recruiters can work the Applicants queue by fit, from that score and a short summary of strengths and gaps, before opening a single resume.
For candidates worth a first conversation, Screened's AI voice or text screening can run in place of — or right before — the default Recruiter Phone Screen sub-stage under Screening, producing a transcript, per-question scores, and a hire/no-hire recommendation.
The score, transcript, and recommendation are ready in Screened before anyone records them on the Candidate 360 profile alongside the interview scorecards or advances the candidate to the next stage. Writing them back automatically is available on request.
Built around how Freshteam works
Screened fits the objects and stages your team already uses in Freshteam.
Freshteam's single candidate record — parsed resume data, application details, a 'Feedback Snapshot' of interview ratings, tags, source, and documents all on one page.
The internal request a hiring manager submits and an approver signs off on before a job posting can go live and recruiters get allocated to it.
Freshteam's split between passive candidates a recruiter sources directly (Leads) and people who apply inbound through the career site or a job board (Applicants).
The three configurable stage categories between Applicants and Hire. Rounds under Interviews can be tagged face-to-face, telephonic, or online; Offer always ends in the fixed sub-stages 'Make an offer' and 'Offer Accepted or Declined.'
Freshteam's archived candidate database for people who weren't right for a past role but could fit a future one, searchable by tag and job role.
The structured rating form interviewers fill out per round, ending in a required hiring recommendation of Strong hire, Hire, No hire, or Strong no hire; the overall score posts next to the interviewer's name on the candidate's timeline.
Review candidate fit and authenticity
Bring screening assessments and potential authenticity concerns into your team’s review. Use the written findings to decide where a closer look is needed.
Common questions
Not natively. Freshteam parses resumes into the Candidate 360 profile and lets recruiters tag and sort applicants, but it doesn't score or rank candidates against a job's requirements by itself. Screened adds that scoring layer, producing a 0-100 score and a summary of red flags and key qualifications against the same candidate.
Yes. Screened's AI voice screening calls candidates who reach whichever stage you choose — often standing in for the default Recruiter Phone Screen sub-stage under Screening — and produces the transcript, per-question scores, and a hire/no-hire recommendation, so the rest of your Applicants → Screening → Interviews → Offer pipeline doesn't change.
In Screened, against the candidate it screened — the score, transcript, per-question scores, and recommendation are all there for whoever reviews the requisition. Writing them back onto the Candidate 360 profile and timeline, where interview scorecard feedback already appears, is available on request.
Freshworks began deprecating Freshteam in January 2026 and stopped all renewals by June 2026, so every remaining account is running out its current contract term, with some running into 2027. Screened works alongside Freshteam as normal during that window, and because screening history lives in Screened rather than the ATS, it isn't a reason to wait on a migration decision either way.
Screened scores candidates against whatever job posting is already live and approved in Freshteam, so a recruiter doesn't need to re-enter or duplicate the job description anywhere — the same posting that went through your requisition approval is what candidates get measured against.
Screened highlights potential concerns in resumes and checks interview answers against the job requirements. Your team can review the written reasons and interview transcript, then ask follow-up questions about experience that needs clarification.
Screened keeps assessments and written reasons for candidates screened through Freshteam. Open the Screened candidate profile to review activity, or export a CSV of the latest decisions. For hiring decisions made in Freshteam, use its own records. See the screening records guide.
