JobAdder integration

AI Candidate Screening Built for JobAdder

Screened scores every JobAdder Application against your Job's requirements and runs the phone or text screening interview. The JobAdder integration is available on request.

Where Screened fits in JobAdder

JobAdder is a cloud-based ATS and recruitment CRM built for recruitment and staffing agencies and in-house talent acquisition teams, with its strongest user base across Australia, New Zealand and the UK — it's owned by SEEK, the region's largest job board, and integrates deeply with SEEK Talent Search Connect.

Agencies run their desk through Jobs, advertise Ads to 200+ job boards, work each Job's Application pipeline by Status and 5-star Rating, manage clients through Companies and Contacts, and convert successful hires into Placements, including temp and contract assignments with their own compliance and timesheet tracking.

What Screened takes off your plate in JobAdder

Triage high-volume Applications when they land on a Job

When a candidate applies and becomes a new Application against one of your Jobs, Screened scores the resume 0-100 against that Job's requirements and has the score, key qualifications, and red flags ready, so a consultant working through 50+ Applications on one Job can rank the pile by AI score instead of reading it in the order it arrived.

JobAdder can't filter its Application list by screening answers

JobAdder lets you add screening questions to an application form, but you can't filter or sort the Application list by the answers themselves, so recruiters end up opening each one individually.

A per-question breakdown instead of a raw form

Screened runs the screening as an AI phone or text conversation instead, scores each answer, and produces a per-question breakdown, so consultants read scored answers rather than opening each Application to read raw ones.

Go a step further than Adder Intelligence's Smart Summary

Smart Summary reads a candidate's resume, notes, and the Job description to write a relevancy summary, but JobAdder is explicit that Adder Intelligence isn't built to interview candidates or make the final shortlisting call. Screened does that next step: it actually talks to the candidate by phone or text, scores their real answers, and produces a transcript and hire/no-hire recommendation to set against Smart Summary's write-up.

Automate the scheduling grind

Reviewers consistently flag JobAdder's automation as limited, with most pipeline actions triggered manually. Screened handles the back-and-forth of booking the screening call, so the only thing left for a consultant is dropping the Application into whatever Status the agency uses for screened candidates, or a custom rejection status.

How Screened works with JobAdder

1

A candidate applies to a Job in JobAdder and becomes a new Application. Screened scores the resume 0-100 against that Job's requirements and flags key qualifications, red flags, and years of experience.

2

Screened runs the AI phone or text screening interview itself, asking the questions that matter for that Job, and produces a transcript, per-question scores, and a hire/no-hire recommendation.

3

Screened handles the scheduling back-and-forth for the screening call or a follow-up interview, so consultants stop chasing candidates for a time that works.

4

Results are ready in Screened — score, notes, recommendation, and results link — before a consultant sets the Application Status. Writing them back as a note automatically is available on request.

Built around how JobAdder works

Screened fits the objects and stages your team already uses in JobAdder.

Job

The record for an open role or vacancy that a recruiter advertises and builds a candidate pipeline against; each Job holds its own Applications, Ads, and Status configuration.

Application

The record created when a Candidate applies to a specific Job, carrying the resume, screening question answers, notes, Rating, and Status as it moves through that Job's pipeline.

Status

JobAdder's term for pipeline stage. Each agency configures its own set of Statuses per Job, including custom rejection statuses, rather than using one fixed universal list, and actions can be triggered automatically when an Application's Status changes.

Rating

A manual 5-star score a recruiter gives an Application to flag suitability, used to sort a Job's shortlist and surface top candidates in the talent pool.

Adder Intelligence

JobAdder's own AI layer, available on the Recruiter Essential plan and above, covering Smart Summary (a resume/notes-based relevancy write-up), Smart Job Descriptions, Smart Sync, and Smart Floats. JobAdder states a human must always make the final shortlisting decision, since Adder Intelligence isn't built to interview candidates.

Placement

The record created once an Application is hired, covering both permanent hires and temp or contract assignments, with its own compliance-document tracking and timesheet or payroll hand-off.

Review candidate fit and authenticity

Bring screening assessments and potential authenticity concerns into your team’s review. Use the written findings to decide where a closer look is needed.

Common questions

Not natively. JobAdder lets you add screening questions to an application form, but the Application list itself can't be filtered or sorted by the answers, so consultants end up opening each Application to read them individually. Screened replaces the form with an AI phone or text screening conversation, scores each answer, and produces a per-question breakdown, so you read each candidate's scored answers instead of opening every Application.

No, they cover different jobs. Smart Summary (part of Adder Intelligence, Essential plan and above) reads a candidate's resume, notes, and the Job description to draft a relevancy write-up, and JobAdder states plainly that Adder Intelligence isn't designed to interview candidates or make the final hiring decision. Screened picks up right there: it gets on a call or text conversation with the candidate, scores their actual answers.

JobAdder's own AI (Adder Intelligence, including Smart Summary, Smart Sync, and Smart Job Descriptions) is limited to the Recruiter Essential plan and above, so Lite plan agencies get none of it. Screened is a separate product and isn't gated by that restriction, but JobAdder lists full API access as an Essential-tier feature, so if your agency is on Lite, it's worth confirming with your JobAdder rep what level of integration access your plan includes.

On a busy temp or contract Job, one ad can pull in dozens of Applications before a consultant opens the list. Screened phone- or text-screens every applicant against that Job's must-haves, such as availability, right-to-work, and rate expectations.

They stay separate and complementary. The 5-star Rating is still set manually by whoever reviews the shortlist. Screened adds its own 0-100 score, flags, and a hire/no-hire recommendation alongside it, and most agencies use that score to inform how they set the Rating rather than replacing it.

Screened highlights potential concerns in resumes and checks interview answers against the job requirements. Your team can review the written reasons and interview transcript, then ask follow-up questions about experience that needs clarification.

Screened keeps assessments and written reasons for candidates screened through JobAdder. Open the Screened candidate profile to review activity, or export a CSV of the latest decisions. For hiring decisions made in JobAdder, use its own records. See the screening records guide.
