JobScore AI Screening: Score Resumes and Run Voice Screens
Screened works alongside the JobScore pipeline you already run — scoring resumes, running AI phone and text screens, and producing the results your team reads next to JobScore's own Candidate Scoring. The JobScore integration is available on request.
Where Screened fits in JobScore
JobScore is a cloud-based applicant tracking system built for small and mid-sized employers, sold across three tiers — Start for HR generalists and hiring managers, Scale (JobScore's most popular plan) for professional recruiters and talent acquisition teams, and Enterprise for high-volume operations at organizations with up to 10,000 employees — with 1,000+ active employers in 150+ countries.
Every tier also bundles seven features branded with "AI" in the name — AI Job Descriptions, AI Refine Text, AI Candidate Summaries, AI Rating Criteria, AI Interview Questions, AI Scoring Criteria, and AI Similar Job Titles — that draft text, suggest criteria or questions, and summarize candidate activity.
None of them independently reads a full resume against the job and scores it, and none conducts or scores a live phone or voice interview. That's the specific gap Screened fills, working alongside JobScore's own deterministic Candidate Scoring rather than replacing it.
What Screened takes off your plate in JobScore
Every applicant lands in JobScore's New primary stage first. Screened scores each resume 0-100 against the job's requirements, extracts years of experience and red flags, and has the result ready before a recruiter opens Candidate Manager's 'By Job' view — so the weakest applicants are already flagged instead of sitting in the queue for a manual read-through.
At the point your team would run one of JobScore's default Active sub-stages — Screening or Phone Interview — Screened can reach out for an AI voice or text screen and produce the results link, per-question scores, and a hire/no-hire recommendation, so moving the candidate to Schedule Phone Interview or Schedule Onsite Interview comes off a completed screen instead of a recruiter working the phones for every applicant who clears the resume screen.
If your JobScore account requires a Disposition Code every time a candidate is marked Declined or Withdrawn (common for federal contractors running OFCCP compliance), nothing about that changes. Screened produces the rejection reason — missed requirements, red flags — and the person marking the candidate Declined in JobScore picks the matching code, so the OFCCP Applicant Log stays complete.
Screened's scores, transcripts, and recommendations are ready before a hiring manager opens a requisition in Candidate Manager, and hiring managers can be given access in Screened to read them against JobScore's own color-coded Candidate Score — so nobody is judging a raw pile on the Candidate Score alone.
How Screened works with JobScore
A candidate applies through your JobScore careers site or a job board post, and JobScore creates their record in the New primary Workflow Stage.
Screened scores the resume 0-100 against the job's requirements and flags key qualifications, red flags, and years of experience — an AI read of the resume narrative that JobScore's criteria-driven Candidate Score isn't built to produce.
For candidates who clear the bar, Screened runs an AI voice or text screening interview and produces the results link, per-question scores, and a hire/no-hire recommendation.
The score, recommendation, and results link are ready in Screened before anyone adds them as a Note on the candidate's profile or moves them into the next Active sub-stage — or to Declined. Writing them back as a Note automatically is available on request, and JobScore's own self-scheduling and interview Scorecards take over once a live interview gets booked.
Built around how JobScore works
Screened fits the objects and stages your team already uses in JobScore.
JobScore's pipeline model: five fixed primary stages — New, Active, Withdrawn, Declined, Hired — that can't be renamed, plus customizable Active sub-stages (default: Schedule Recruiter Screen, Screening, Schedule Phone Interview, Phone Interview, Schedule Onsite Interview, Interviewing, Check References, Offer, On Hold).
JobScore's native 0-100 match score, color-coded per criterion (green = matches, blue = partial match, red = doesn't match, gray = no criteria or missing data). JobScore states there is 'no black-box or hallucination-prone machine learning' behind it — the score is driven entirely by the scoring criteria and importance weights set on the job.
The screen recruiters use to review the pipeline, with By Job, Unassigned, and By Answer views for filtering candidates by stage, source, or score.
JobScore's feedback record on a candidate — addable from the Action menu, by email reply, or via a saved Note Template (Scale/Enterprise only) that structures feedback at each interview step.
Reason codes JobScore prompts for when a candidate is marked Declined or Withdrawn, rolled up into the OFCCP Applicant Log report; can be set to required or optional per account.
JobScore's REST API (with webhooks) for candidates, applications, jobs, and notes — documented as available to Enterprise customers and select partners rather than every plan, and not intended for building a careers site (that's a separate API).
Review candidate fit and authenticity
Bring screening assessments and potential authenticity concerns into your team’s review. Use the written findings to decide where a closer look is needed.
Common questions
JobScore doesn't run or score a live interview itself. Its own AI Interview Questions feature does a gap analysis between a candidate's resume and the job description and recommends questions to ask, but a recruiter still has to get the candidate on the phone and judge the answers. Screened goes a step further: its AI actually conducts the voice or text screen, scores the responses, and produces the transcript and hire/no-hire recommendation.
Not quite. JobScore says plainly that there's 'no black-box or hallucination-prone machine learning' behind a Candidate Score — it's a direct reflection of the scoring criteria and importance weights you set on the job. Features like AI Scoring Criteria and AI Rating Criteria can suggest which criteria to use or generate sample questions for them, but the 0-100 match itself is still computed deterministically against whatever criteria are configured, not generated by AI reading the resume narrative. Screened's resume score works differently — it reads the actual resume against the job and produces its own 0-100 score plus extracted qualifications and red flags.
In Screened, where recruiters and hiring managers can be given access to read them. It holds the resume score, extracted qualifications and red flags, and — once a phone or text screen runs — the results link, per-question scores, and hire/no-hire recommendation, so whoever works the candidate in Candidate Manager already knows the outcome. Writing them onto the JobScore candidate profile as a Note is available on request.
No. Screened doesn't mark anyone Declined or Withdrawn in JobScore — it produces the resume score, the screen result, and the rejection reason, and whoever declines the candidate in JobScore picks the Disposition Code the same way they do today. If your account has 'Disposition Codes Required' turned on, every declined candidate still gets a code, so your OFCCP Applicant Log doesn't come up short at audit time.
JobScore is available on request. Just ask us about it when you talk to sales. Screening itself needs no developer work, no custom API project, and nothing to install on your side.
Screened highlights potential concerns in resumes and checks interview answers against the job requirements. Your team can review the written reasons and interview transcript, then ask follow-up questions about experience that needs clarification.
Screened keeps assessments and written reasons for candidates screened through JobScore. Open the Screened candidate profile to review activity, or export a CSV of the latest decisions. For hiring decisions made in JobScore, use its own records. See the screening records guide.
