Jobvite integration

Jobvite AI Candidate Screening for High-Volume Recruiting Teams

Score resumes and run AI phone or text screens when candidates hit your Requisition's Candidate Workflow - score, transcript, and recommendation finished before a recruiter opens the profile. The Jobvite integration is available on request.

Where Screened fits in Jobvite

Jobvite is Employ Inc.'s applicant tracking system for mid-sized and enterprise employers running high-volume recruiting, sitting at the upper end of Employ's three-brand portfolio alongside JazzHR (small business) and Lever (mid-market).

Recruiters build Requisitions, route applicants through a configurable Candidate Workflow of Workflow States (New, Reviewed, Phone Screen, Interview, Offer, Hired, and more), and lean on built-in Pre-screening Forms, Interview Kits, Talent Fit matching, and AI Interview Companion to manage volume without losing structure.

What Screened takes off your plate in Jobvite

Triage the New and Reviewed pile before anyone opens a resume

A several-hundred-applicant requisition dumps every application into New, then a first pass into Reviewed. Recruiters typically open the Candidates Tab and filter it down to that one requisition before reading anything. Screened scores each resume 0-100 against the requisition's actual requirements once it arrives, so that filtered list can be sorted by fit instead of by application date.

Turn the Phone Screen stage into a finished call, not a to-do list

Moving a candidate to Phone Screen (or Recruiter Screen, depending on how the workflow is configured) usually means a recruiter blocks time to dial them. Screened can run that first conversation itself with an AI voice or text screen built around the requisition's key questions, then produce a transcript, per-question scores, and a hire/no-hire recommendation - so the recruiter's job becomes reviewing a finished screen, and only the strongest candidates take up a hiring manager's time.

Where Pre-screening Forms and Talent Fit each stop

Pre-screening Forms score candidates by spreading weight evenly across whichever questions are scored - solid for knockout requirements like a license, but blind to actual work history. Talent Fit compares the resume to the job description for a fit signal, but it isn't built to hand recruiters a transcript or a red-flag list.

A resume-literate second opinion next to both

Screened adds that missing layer: a 0-100 resume score plus extracted qualifications, red flags, and years of experience, ready to weigh next to both of those signals.

Give the Interview Kit something to work from

Interview Kits are only as useful as what the interviewer walks in with. When Screened has already run a phone or text screen, its transcript and summary give the hiring manager something concrete to reference before they open the Interview Kit's evaluation form, instead of starting the real conversation from a bare resume.

How Screened works with Jobvite

1

When a candidate reaches New or Reviewed in a requisition's Candidate Workflow, Screened scores their resume 0-100 against that requisition's requirements and produces the score, key qualifications, red flags, and years of experience.

2

When a candidate is moved to Phone Screen or Recruiter Screen, Screened can run the AI voice or text screen automatically and produce a transcript, per-question scores, and a hire/no-hire recommendation to weigh next to whatever the requisition's Pre-screening Form already captured.

3

Screened handles the scheduling and coordination for whatever interview comes next, so a recruiter isn't re-collecting availability by hand.

4

The score, notes, results link, and recommendation are ready in Screened, so whoever advances the candidate through the Candidate Workflow is moving a screened applicant rather than a raw one. Writing them back to Jobvite automatically is available on request.

Built around how Jobvite works

Screened fits the objects and stages your team already uses in Jobvite.

Requisition (Req)

Jobvite's object for an open role. Pre-screening Forms, Interview Kits, and approval chains are configured at the requisition level, and recruiters generally work one requisition's pipeline at a time.

Candidate Workflow

The ordered set of Workflow States a requisition's candidates move through. Jobvite commonly includes stages such as New, Reviewed, Phone Screen (or Recruiter Screen), Interview, Offer, and Hired, plus a rejected branch; teams can add Custom States but are advised not to rename the predefined ones.

Pre-screening Forms

Internal and external screening question sets attached to a requisition. When scoring is turned on, Jobvite spreads weight evenly across every scored question and can automatically advance or reject a candidate based on their answers.

Interview Kits

Configurable evaluation forms (scorecards) hiring teams fill out per interview. Feedback consolidates into the candidate's centralized profile rather than staying with the individual interviewer.

Talent Fit

Jobvite's built-in AI matching feature. It compares a candidate's resume - skills, certifications, licenses, experience - against the job description to surface best-fit candidates, and re-evaluates automatically if the requisition's description changes.

AI Interview Companion

Formerly the standalone product Pillar, acquired by Employ in March 2025 and now built into Jobvite. It joins video interviews to transcribe, take notes, suggest structured questions, and generate a summary that feeds the Interview Kit scorecard.

Review candidate fit and authenticity

Bring screening assessments and potential authenticity concerns into your team’s review. Use the written findings to decide where a closer look is needed.

Common questions

No. Pre-screening Forms score candidates on fixed questions, with weight split evenly across whatever's scored - useful for knockout requirements like a license or work authorization. Screened adds a separate, resume-based read: a 0-100 score plus extracted qualifications, red flags, and years of experience, ready in Screened so recruiters weigh both signals instead of relying on just one.

Yes. Screened can score resumes once they land in New, so by the time a recruiter opens the Candidates Tab filtered to that requisition, the list is already sorted by fit rather than by application date.

No. Talent Fit compares a resume to the job description to flag likely matches, and AI Interview Companion sits on the video interview itself, taking notes and building the scorecard summary. Screened fills the step in between: it runs the actual phone or text screening conversation and produces the transcript, per-question scores, and hire/no-hire recommendation that neither of those features generates.

Yes. Screened doesn't assume a single stage name; you tell it which Workflow State in your requisition's Candidate Workflow should trigger the AI screen, so a workflow with both a Phone Screen and a separate Recruiter Screen step still only kicks off the screen at the right point.

Jobvite is available on request. Just ask us about it when you talk to sales. Screening itself needs no developer work, no custom API project, and nothing to install on your side.

Screened highlights potential concerns in resumes and checks interview answers against the job requirements. Your team can review the written reasons and interview transcript, then ask follow-up questions about experience that needs clarification.

Screened keeps assessments and written reasons for candidates screened through Jobvite. Open the Screened candidate profile to review activity, or export a CSV of the latest decisions. For hiring decisions made in Jobvite, use its own records. See the screening records guide.
