High-Volume AI Screening for TalentReef Recruiters

Screened adds AI resume and voice screening for the hourly applicants sitting in your TalentReef requisitions, so teams can tell who's qualified before opening the file — scores, transcripts, and a hire/no-hire recommendation ready in Screened. The TalentReef integration is available on request.

Where Screened fits in TalentReef

TalentReef, now part of Mitratech, is an applicant tracking and talent management platform built specifically for high-volume, hourly hiring — used across more than 100,000 restaurant, hotel, retail, convenience-store, and other multi-location employer sites.

Unlike a typical corporate ATS, TalentReef is usually run by a mix of corporate or regional recruiters managing requisitions across dozens of locations and on-site store or location managers who make the actual hiring calls inside the Manager Portal.

Its whole design — Fast Apply, Chat Apply, Text-to-Apply — is built around candidates applying from a phone and abandoning anything that takes too long.

What Screened takes off your plate in TalentReef

Scoring applicants when they hit a requisition

A Fast Apply or Chat Apply submission drops a candidate into that requisition's Applicants queue with a New or Applied status. Screened scores the resume against the requisition's actual requirements — certifications, availability, experience — and produces a 0-100 score plus key qualifications and red flags, a read to weigh alongside TalentReef's own Posi-Fit score, before a location manager ever opens the file.

Location managers can't call every hourly applicant

The people deciding who gets hired in TalentReef's Manager Portal are often store or location managers, not full-time recruiters, and they don't have time to call every applicant for a cashier or line-cook opening.

Placing that screening call automatically

Screened places the AI voice screening call automatically, asks role-specific questions like availability and transportation, and produces a transcript, per-question scores, and a hire/no-hire recommendation — so the manager reviews a finished screen instead of a bare resume.

Cutting no-shows and wasted interview slots

TalentReef's Chat Apply can already send automated interview invitations once a manager flags someone as a fit — but that only kicks in after a manual review. Because Screened's resume and voice screening happens before that decision point, only the candidates who clear it need moving to Interview status and into TalentReef's automated scheduling, instead of every applicant who happened to apply first.

Giving regional recruiters a quality signal across locations

Corporate and regional recruiters already filter TalentReef's Applicants list and Reporting & Analytics by location or requisition to track volume and time-to-hire. With Screened's scores and notes held against each candidate in Screened, they can also see which locations are pulling in qualified applicants and which ones keep posting requisitions that fill up with New applicants who never clear a basic screen.

How Screened works with TalentReef

1

A candidate applies through TalentReef — via Fast Apply, Chat Apply, Text-to-Apply, or a job board like Indeed — and lands in that requisition's Applicants queue.

2

Screened scores the resume against the requisition's requirements and, for roles that need it, runs an AI voice or text screening interview, capturing a transcript, per-question scores, and a hire/no-hire recommendation.

3

Those results — score, qualifications, red flags, results link, and recommendation — are ready in Screened before anyone sets the candidate's TalentReef status (Mark as Contacted, Interview, or Released). Writing them back onto the candidate profile as a note automatically is available on request.

4

Location and regional managers keep working from TalentReef's Manager Portal exactly as before, filtering by location or requisition — just with a screening result already waiting for every applicant they open.

Built around how TalentReef works

Screened fits the objects and stages your team already uses in TalentReef.

Requisition (Req)

The job-opening record inside TalentReef. Recruiters filter the Applicants list by requisition or by location to manage who's in the pipeline for a specific role.

Location

TalentReef's core organizing unit for multi-site and franchise employers. Every posting is tied to one or more locations, and store/location managers typically only see applicants for their own site(s).

Manager Portal

The dashboard hiring and location managers use to post jobs, review applicants, message candidates, and run onboarding — where the people making the actual hiring calls spend their day.

Posi-Fit Interview / Posi-Fit Score

TalentReef's built-in position-fit questionnaire, answered during the application and scored to give managers an early fit signal — a lighter-weight read that AI resume and voice screening sits alongside, not a replacement for.

Applicant status pipeline

TalentReef tracks candidates through statuses such as New/Applied, Mark as Contacted, Interview, Offer, Hired, and Released. Many configurations require moving someone to Offer before Hired becomes selectable.

Chat Apply

TalentReef's conversational chatbot that helps candidates finish an application in minutes and can auto-schedule an interview once a manager decides to move forward.

Review candidate fit and authenticity

Bring screening assessments and potential authenticity concerns into your team’s review. Use the written findings to decide where a closer look is needed.

Common questions

Not the way Screened does it. TalentReef's native signals are Posi-Fit scores (position-fit questions answered during the application) and a star rating that highlights standout applicants — useful, but not a score built against a specific requisition's requirements, and not an interview. Screened adds that layer and produces the result for the same candidate.

Yes. Screened runs the AI voice screening calls for applicants sitting in your TalentReef requisitions and produces the transcript, scores, and recommendation, ready before a location or regional manager sets a status in the Manager Portal. Posting them back onto the candidate profile as a note is available on request.

Screening follows the same structure TalentReef already uses: results stay scoped to the requisition and location a candidate applied to, so a location manager only sees screening for their own site, while a regional recruiter can still roll screening results up across locations the same way they roll up volume in Reporting & Analytics.

Not today. The screening outcome — score, transcript, and hire/no-hire recommendation — is ready in Screened before anyone sets a status, so a manager still moves the candidate to Interview, or to Released if they don't meet the requisition's requirements. Advancing the status automatically is available on request.

TalentReef is available on request. Just ask us about it when you talk to sales. Screening itself needs no developer work, no custom API project, and nothing to install on your side.

Screened highlights potential concerns in resumes and checks interview answers against the job requirements. Your team can review the written reasons and interview transcript, then ask follow-up questions about experience that needs clarification.

Screened keeps assessments and written reasons for candidates screened through TalentReef. Open the Screened candidate profile to review activity, or export a CSV of the latest decisions. For hiring decisions made in TalentReef, use its own records. See the screening records guide.
