LEVER INTEGRATION
AI screening, as feedback on
Lever opportunities
Screened scores every resume against the role and posts the result as native Lever feedback on the opportunity — where your team already reads it. AI phone screens are available on top.

What Screened adds to your Lever pipeline
If you came here to evaluate Lever on AI-assisted candidate screening and application review, the short version is this. Lever is where your team runs the process; Screened is not a second place to run it. It does two jobs and hands the results straight back.
Every candidate in your intake stage is read against the job's requirements and scored, with a written reason.
Posts back as Screened - CV Results feedback.
Most teams run resume screening alone. When a resume will not settle it, the same setup interviews the strongest candidates against those same requirements.
Posts back as Screened - Screen Call Results feedback.
Results arrive as Lever feedback
Most integrations bolt custom fields onto a candidate record. Lever gives partners a native feedback form instead, and Screened uses it — so a screening result lands in the same place, and reads the same way, as feedback from a human interviewer. Every result carries its reasons, and the latest decision made in Screened carries a name and a date.
The resume feedback carries an overall summary, a match percentage and the Screened status. The interview feedback carries the assessment of the call. Nothing new for your team to learn, and nothing for them to go and look up somewhere else.
Screened CV - Strong Fit and Screened Call - Proceed, among others, apply as results arrive — so a long list becomes sortable without opening anything.
If Screened cannot process a candidate — a missing resume, say — it posts a note saying what happened and what to fix, rather than failing quietly.
Read the feedback before deciding. The score is useful for triage, but the written result is what explains which requirements were met and which gaps were found. For the full requirement evidence and the interview transcript, a link opens the candidate report in Screened.
How it runs day to day
Connect Lever from Settings → ATS in Screened and approve the access Lever shows you.
Pick your intake stage under Stage Mapping, then add the Lever jobs you want Screened to work on.
Move candidates into that stage — one at a time, or in bulk from the Lever Stage menu.
Screened scores the resume against the role and posts Screened - CV Results feedback, plus tags.
The candidates worth talking to get a phone interview, which comes back as Screened - Screen Call Results feedback.
Your team reads the feedback on the opportunity and decides who moves forward.
It fits your process. It doesn't take it over.
It reads which stage someone is in, because that is how it knows who to screen. Moving people through the pipeline stays with your team, every time.
Feedback, tags and notes are each controlled by your Candidate Updates settings, so you decide how much Screened writes onto an opportunity.

What this changes about your week
Sourcing is the part of a Lever recruiter's job that needs a person. Reading the inbound is the part that does not.
Every opportunity in your intake stage comes back with a match percentage and a written result, so triage is a sort rather than an afternoon.
Every candidate for a role is judged against the same must-haves, so the last resume of the day gets the same read as the first.
The feedback explains which requirements were met and which were missed, so a hiring manager asking "why this one?" has an answer without a recruiter reconstructing it.
Review candidate fit and authenticity
Bring screening assessments and potential authenticity concerns into your team’s review. Use the written findings to decide where a closer look is needed.

Common questions
Lever has been adding AI across the product, and what's available depends on your plan — worth asking your Lever contact. Screened is not a replacement for any of it. It does the screening work itself: reads the resume against the role, runs the first-round phone interview, and posts each result back as Lever feedback on the opportunity your team already reviews.
As feedback on the opportunity. Resume results come back as Screened - CV Results feedback, carrying an overall summary, a match percentage and the Screened status. Completed interviews come back as Screened - Screen Call Results feedback. Both sit in the same place your team already reads interviewer feedback.
No. Lever gives integrations a native feedback form, so Screened uses that rather than bolting on fields of its own. The result is that screening shows up where feedback already lives, instead of in a separate section your team has to learn.
No. Screened reads which stage a candidate is in — that is how it knows who to screen — but moving people through your pipeline stays entirely with your team.
The ones in your intake stage, on jobs you have added to Screened. You choose that stage under Stage Mapping, and in Lever you can select candidates and use the Stage menu to move them into it. If someone was already sitting there before the job was added, a sync from Settings → ATS makes Screened look again.
Resume outcomes come back as Screened CV - Strong Fit or Screened CV - Not a Fit. Interview outcomes come back as Screened Call - Proceed, Screened Call - Proceed With Caution, or Screened Call - Do Not Proceed. Which of them post is up to your Candidate Updates settings.
Yes. A Lever job has to be added to Screened before any of its candidates are touched, so the scope is always something you chose. Most teams start with high-volume roles and leave senior searches to manual review.
Yes. Read Screened feedback on the Lever opportunity to understand why a candidate received a recommendation. Screening updates must be enabled. Open the Screened candidate profile for more detail and activity. For exports and review options, see the screening records guide.
Screened highlights potential authenticity concerns for your team to review alongside the candidate’s assessment. Use the written findings to decide what needs a closer look before moving forward.
